Absolutely in love with this machine! A year and a half ago I broke my arm and haven't been able to properly clean my floors by myself...until now! It picked up every bit of dog hair and my floors were shining, it's super light and being able to transition from bare floors with mopping to carpet is so fantastic. I can not say enough good about this cleaner and rave about it to all. Shark always has great products that work hard and last forever, this one is just one more addition to that list.

I liked at the beginning but after 1 month the device just doesn't work (keep flashing all the lights). Will have to go after warranty, bad quality - not reliable.

I'm so glad I bought this thing! It's kept in a place of honour in my kitchen! Before I got it, it took me so long to wash my floors because I'd have to move things off the floor, sweep, and then get the mop and bucket out, keep changing the water, etc. It was a real chore, and I put it off as long as I could. But this hydrovac eliminates the pre-wash sweep, and as for changing mopping water, you just have to refill the clean water/solution tank (very easy) and every so often dump the dirty water tank. Cleaning my floors is no longer a hassle, in fact, I look forward to cleaning the kitchen floor every night - it's wonderful to come downstairs to a clean kitchen (including the floor!) the next morning! The only things I wish could be improved is that it doesn't get in corners very well. And also, the day after I bought my machine, there was a price drop of $24. That is REALLY bad timing. However, I would highly recommend this little item, and it does work on my area rugs as well. Plus, I made sure I got one that has a self cleaning feature. That's always fun!

It works really well, and it’s pretty cool that it’s a two in one, but my only issue is that the water tank is only big enough for a 9ftx11ft room so you have to rinse and refill every time you change rooms. Its also suggested that you rinse the whole inside before starting each room. So it’s cool but very tedious, especially when you've got kids to manage. A regular mop is just plain easier.
