Picked this one up because I've had good experiences with the brand, and it was easier to trust a known name over some of the alternatives. Decided to give it a go. I like that you can view the internal, ambient and target temps. I hate apps in general, but for something I'll be using on a regular day to day basis, I don't mind the occasional app, as long as it's going to be worth while. For the most part though, I am extremely anti-app. This unit seems well made, and is easy enough to use. Monitoring temps wirelessly is super convenient. Has a high temperature rating. Likes: - Wireless monitoring is super convenient. - Easy to use. - Can monitor internal / ambient & target temps. - Well built. Dislikes: - May have to pick up another one now, so that I can use for both cooking and crafting needs.

By far the best thermometer I’ve used won’t use anything else

The Bluetooth connectivity works seamlessly, and the thermometer connects to my iPhone without any issues. The Ninja ProConnect App is user-friendly, allowing me to monitor the temperature from anywhere in my home. So far, it has worked flawlessly, and I’ve had a great experience using it.

I ordered this thermometer not realizing how it relied so much on app connectivity. I know, silly me, my bad! It's quite impressive how you have all these different settings right at your fingertips with the app and it even lets you select the type of meat and cut that you are cooking. For its sole purpose and job, the thermometer works just fine. It is very handy that you can keep track of the progress right from your phone throughout the entire cooking time. The build quality is solid and definitely feels well made. I would have preferred this to be rechargeable instead of having a battery inside, but I know many will disagree. I really wish the thermometer had an option to be used without the app, but I know that the app offers you all of these options and settings that you wouldn't get otherwise. I guess I'm just someone who prefers simplicity over having a lot of bells and whistles. Therefore, I think I will be going back to my simple thermometer for future uses. In my case, I find it annoying to need yet another app on my phone, which would include even an app for cooking and grilling meats. In my opinion, I can't give this 4 or 5 stars as despite the high tech features. It's not something that I personally feel is worth the $120 price tag of the product. However, if you like high tech and advanced items, I would certainly say to try this out.

I love wireless meat thermometers - and this just takes the cake. Want the perfect cook every time? Get one of these. You toss it in the meat (Or veg I guess? But you don't need a particular heat for veg!), make sure your app is synced up, and then you go! Toss your dinner in the oven and just watch remotely as the temperature increases until just below your desired doneness. Remember, it will still continue to cook after you take it out, so you'll want to pull it slightly early so it can finish outside the oven (you'll see this on the thermometer as well!). It held up to 500 degree temps for me without issue. I'm not sure how hot it can withstand in terms of a BBQ but I've had no issues so far! It can be a bit pricey compared to other wireless thermometers but honestly, it's a much higher quality than the others. The app works great as well. I had no issues with connectivity and it synced up right away. The probe charges fast too. Overall, this is a winner for me!
