Makes smoothies and slushy drinks really well and powers through the ice, has way more torque then the previous version. The max is a great upgrade. Sadly the lid latch came broken took a picture after removing the blender from the box, looks like a defect. The corner broke off after the first use but there is still the other side that's able to hold the lid down. Will contact Ninja and update on the support provided, eitherwise it's the perfect portable blender.
