PHILIPS B7807 3.1-Channel Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer and Dolby Atmos

I appreciate Philip's use of recyclable packaging materials. The soundbar and subwoofer are both nicely made from high quality materials. They both feel substantial and robust. The included remote is very nice too, with plastic membrane buttons. The soundbar is stylish, sleek, and attractive. The subwoofer is a boring basic box, but that won't be on display as much since it sits on the floor. Included with the Philips are hardware to hang the soundbar from your wall - a nice touch. Not included is an HDMI cable. The Philips was very easy to get set-up and connected. The soundbar connected to the subwoofer instantly without needing me to do anything. I hooked the soundbar to my Samsung The Frame TV via the ARC HDMI port. The TV recognized the soundbar immediately and switched audio over. There is also an optical hook-up, if you'd prefer. The Philips is a huge improvement over the TV's built-in speakers. For starters it is easier to hear dialogue since the soundbar has a dedicated center channel. Also, there was more depth and immersion to the sound. Lastly, bass was much more noticable, but it never became boomy or overwhelming. Voices sounded warm, distinct, and clear. Explosions and other special effects were appropriately intense. Musical numbers were lively and sounded great. Speaking of music, you can use the Philips to play music from a Bluetooth device. That's a nice touch, but having built in Apple AirPlay would have been nicer. The menu to change settings is accessed via the display that shows up behind the behind the screen of soundbar. That small display is how you navigate the menu and make setting changes. It's a bit cumbersome. Thankfully, some settings are directly accessible via the remote, such as the subwoofer level. All in all... a great soundbar system.

Hands down the absolute best soundbar and wireless subwoofer that I've ever had. For a while I've been looking for the perfect soundbar and subwoofer for my movie room in my home and this has been nothing short of amazing. Set up was a breeze as long as you follow the direction you won't have any issues. Everything that you need comes included, even the remote with batteries. If you're looking for a nice minimalist setup this is perfect. I was so glad that the subwoofer is wireless so I could basically place it anywhere in the room that I see fit. No more worrying about wires causing unnecessary clutter or figuring out the best way to keep the wires out of sight. I would say that the price is definitely worth it, with the sound quality this good it should probably cost a bit more. I've had movie nights and all of my friends talk about how great the sound quality is for such a minimalist setup. You'd think there were 3-4 speakers around the room but the design of the sound bar makes the sound encapsulate the area.

OK, we all know you're not going to get a full blown theater experience with any sound bar, but this bar from Phillips is pretty impressive. We needed another bar for one of our guest rooms and this fit the bill perfectly. Sound quality is great for a bar with crystal clear dialogue and good lows for the size of the subwoofer. Build quality is good and sturdy. Easy to install and really no setup needed when using EARC hdmi connection, just plug it in and it works. Recommended.

The media could not be loaded. This bar and subwoofer set sounds amazing together. You can adjust the volume on the soundbar and the subwoofer with the same remote. These were extremely easy to set up and pair. Although I did have to change a few settings on the TV before it started actually working just in case you may have to check that yourself. Super sturdy built with high quality materials durable. Makes a great addition to any TV entertainment setup. Comes with a remote for controls or has touch controls on the actual bar. Plenty of options to go through and use for all your needs. We use it for watching TV movies and playing video games mainly. Fantastic value for the money.
