I wanted something better than a typical clunky power strip for our tea hutch. This 3 plug built-in power strip is the perfect size, easy to install, and gives a nice finished look without cables dangling in every direction. The build quality is very good with solid receptacles and a long high quality power cord. The installation instructions are easy to follow if you select the cut-out for your power strip model and always “measure twice and cut once.” Even with my slightly sloppy DIY effort, the power strip is nearly invisible, which makes the tea hutch a great space for making tea.

I ordered this Wiremold power strip and used the template included on the Amazon product photos to cut the opening into the new cabinet. Cabinets were installed prior to the arrival of this part. Once opened, it was clear that the power strip is smaller than the size shown on the template on the amazon page. Now I have a very expensive custom cabinet set with an open hole next to the outlet.

The outlet got covered when I put in more cabinets. This was a simple way to bring that outlet to a place we could use it. Without trying to rewire the wall. Simple to install, had a great pattern so you cut the right size hole. And easy directions. Going to buy two more.

Would liked it if there was a template to know how big to cut the whole. I thought I measured well but was slightly off and had to sand to get it to fit. That said it looks fine and is fairly scratch resistant for plastic. The color goes great with brushed stainless, but also goes well with bronze. I wish they had built in USB ports but it is a great item, sturdier then I hopped and long and thick power cord.

We used these in a couple of vanity drawers after a customer requested receptacles mounted in the drawers instead of in the back of the cabinet. Worked out great, and looked great too. I would definitely use them again.
