The 1st labeler I bought wouldn’t even power up after applying power. After complaining to Amazon they had one delivered to me the next morning. Very impressed with that level of service ! I bought this mainly for the high visibility display as I Beas sick and tired of using a magnifying glass with my old one. I find the text cer very visible with my poor eyesight so 5 stars for that ! I’m not interested in fancy fonts or connecting it to my computer so can’t comment on those features. For making my simple labels it’s just perfect for the job. Ialso like the auto cut feature when the label has finished printing.

The range of tape sizes (and colours) make this machine very versatile. The Bluetooth connection works from my iPhone app or my windows app. It’s easy to design elaborate labels. The only thing I don’t like is that every time I print a single label the machine spits out a 1” piece of tape. Very wasteful. Search Amazon for knock off tapes. They work well and are much less expensive than Brother oem tape.

It is the best technology investment I have made in a long time. This P-Touch works standalone with a built-in keyboard, 6 AA rechargeable batteries (I supplied Amazon AAs) or the AC (included). Apps are easily downloaded to your smartphone, including label creation, templates and product documentation/help. The cartridges are inexpensive, and I chose 3rd party because they were less expensive. They can be easily loaded and swapped in the P-Touch. I chose black on clear and white on clear for my labelling needs. What a great little tool to help you get organized. I also use it to identify the 100 power cords I own by type or by what appliance it is associated with.
