Just what I needed! I was organizing my studio and wanted to label the many plastic drawers, containers and bins where I store art supplies. Tried a variety of labels and none would stick to the plastic. Bought this (and the PTouch) and my problems are solved! Strong adherence to plastic!
As with other Brothers label products, quality seems good and the adhesive it good. I use these tapes for all kinds of labeling both indoors and out. Recently, I made a number of small scale stickers for my RC cars and the clear portion of the tape mostly disappears while leaving the colored part vivid and easy to see and to read. I just love my Brothers label maker........maybe a little too much ! lol
I bought this to label my AR magazines and it works great. It may seem a bit anal to do this, but with a variety of ammo in dozens of mags, it's nice to be able to keep things organized.
Item did not perform as stated. The tape would get stuck together and did not print on the clear side as it should. The adhesive was not extra strength as stated even if I could have got the tape to function properly.
This was the first roll of tape I bought with myBrother PT-2430PC , so I can't compare it to any other. I can say that the only thing I've used it on is a custom switch on the dash of my truck, and it's VERY easy to read. Despite the temperatures, UV, & constant abrasion of hands on the dash, it hasn't even begun to peel off, fade, or haze. I'm an auto mechanic, and it didn't take me 15 minutes to get it out of the box, connected, set up, and working. I printed several small labels on a wide piece of tape & cut them down to size, so I only had about 3/8" waste for my first 6 labels. It will also do the inverse of the tape cartridge (like clear text on a white background) by converting the text to an image and inverting (using MSPaint, etc.). This isn't hard to figure out if you spend a little common sense. I only wish they offered more sizes & colors in the TZeS- series of tape cartridges. UPDATE: After a few years, the labels I made from this tape still look like they just came out of the printer. So again: nothing compares to this tape. UPDATE 2: I moved the power switch to the front of my welding machine & labelled it. It's holding up like-new after a few years of working the switch through a heavy leather welding glove.
