I bought this to replaced and old HDD in my HP laptop. It’s much faster and worked immediately, out of the box. I didn’t need to format anything or configure settings. I simply tore my laptop apart, removed the old drive, and did a fresh install to this drive. It booted right up and has been awesome ever since! Best money I’ve spent on this laptop. It improved the boot times, load times, and overall system responsiveness.
