Matias One Keyboard for iPhone and PC

This keyboard is amazing, it is very simple to set-up and works exactly as described. I would recomend this product to anyone!

This only works when plugged into your computer. Kind of ruins the portability of the Ipad or iPhone. Brain dead design.

I bought this keyboard to quickly/easily switch between using my computer for work and my iPad/phone for personal email / texting. They keyboard does EXACTLY what I need. The push of a single button moves back and forth instantly and seamlessly. To those who complain that the keyboard on their phone won't re-appear until blue tooth is turned off or the phone is out of range of the keyboard: Press the F5 key and the iPhone/iPad's keyboard instantly appears on the device screen. You just have to remember to push that button before you get up and walk away. My only complaint is the pad they put over the arrow keys that's meant to be a place you can hold your phone. They moved the Home/End/Page Up/Page Down/etc. keys in order to have the pad. I never use it, and would much prefer to have the keys back where they go. The workaround is a function button you use in combination with other keys to get the Home/End/etc effects. I've had the keyboard a little over a week and I'm starting to get used to it, but still... I could have done without the pad. UPDATE - JULY 23 2014 - Downgraded to 3 stars from 4. I've had this keyboard for just over a year now and the 'N' key is starting to ware out. There is no visible damage to the key or keyboard, and when I pop the key off of the keyboard to look underneath, everything seems to be in order. Yet as I type, the keyboard doesn't recognize the N key about half of the time. I'm constantly having to backspace and correct misspelled words as a result. (It's a problem with the keyboard rather than blue tooth connectivity, b/c it happens whether I'm using it to type into my phone/device or the computer connected via cord.) I feel like I should be able to expect more than 15 months out of a keyboard like this.... Maybe I expect too much? I've still never used the silly pad to hold my phone. I really wish they'd re-design the keyboard to put the home/end/page up/page down/etc buttons where they belong. I can't imagine anybody placing their phone on the pad.

I had so many people rave about the quality of Matias keyboards, and, with my desire to have one keyboard for both the PC and the iPhone, I was thinking this would be heaven. Alas, it was not. One, it's REALLY loud. I can't use it while on a call; that's a no-no for conference calls. Two, the Bluetooth connection is wonky: once it's paired, regardless if you invoke the keyboard's usage with your phone, the iPhone will not display the on-screen keyboard. I realize that's more of an iOS limitation than this keyboard, but that means if I get up from my desk and walk away with my phone, the on-screen keyboard won't appear unless I lose the Bluetooth connection or turn it off on the phone. And yes, there were several incidents of it not "seeing" the phone. Like I said, non-starters for me, but if your limitations are less than those, the quality of this thing is excellent.
