Set in a parallel universe, the Earth and humanity have prospered enough to expand space colonies all the way into the arm of Orion in RayStorm. To maintain security, Earth imposes martial law, but a federation of colonies led by the colony of Secilia overthrows the Earth’s government and plans to obliterate the planet and all the people on it. To counter this, Earth sends out a covertly-developed fighter codenamed the R-Gray in hopes of penetrating the Secilian atmosphere and obliterating Secilia’s base of operations, the Juda Central System. RayCrisis is set in a cyberspace environment and marked a style departure from the rest of the series. It details the events during which the supercomputer called Con-Human gained sentience and rebelled against its human creators. While the Earth is demolished to be remade as Con-Human’s new corporeal form, a mecha-neurologist launches a desperate assault to jack into the supercomputer’s virtual core and cease its insanity. It is up to you to pilot the Waverider viruses and keep the malicious AI from causing any more chaos - even if it could be too late, you must ensure that no more lives are lost in the real world by stopping Con-Human in the digital realm.

Great graphics and so much fun, I couldn't put it down
If you know shooters, this title is as good as it gets but now it’s in HD and runs conveniently on a switch. Lots of extras to unlock and the gameplay is buttery smooth.
Just what I needed
2 legendary shooters freshened up by the port master M2. 40$ is a bargain.
Don’t get me wrong these are 2 good games, But for $40 it just wasn’t worth it. Got it for the HD rendering of 2 classics but the details are so unimpressive that it’s not a huge jump from the original to the remaster. It has 2 good (not great) shmup of the sega Saturn era, I was a bit underwhelmed. Even a little museum or something would’ve been a nice touch but honestly if you’re a huge shmup fan but have no idea what this series is about, just wait on it…I don’t see this selling many copies before it drops way down in price, And if you’re a fan of these games and need the HD remaster now then go for it, It’s not bad by any means but compared to the content that raiden mikado and others in the genre bring, it’s barebones. Just wait for a sale, my thoughts anyway. 6/10
