Double typing key strokes after the firmrare updates

So I noticed the keyboard was doubling key strokes, not a sign of quality. Corsair claims it fixed the double typing issue, but I've noticed it once since updating the firmware. Debating on returning this keyboard at this time. Ive used it for a few days The firmware update has reduced it significantly, but I cant tell if I am the one doing the typo or its the horrible corsair software doing the mistakes. Glad I didnt get rid of my old corsair keyboard. MAKE CORSAIR GREAT AGAIN. Updated Dec 4 2023: The K70 Core software is the problem or the keyboard is, I am not the one constantly double keystroking. I type for a living The only reason I got this keyboard was because the lights stayed off; I had spilled water on my Strafe previously... however after leaning how to delete profiles and factory reset (holding escape) , my lights worked again, however in the software settings, it was defaulting my brightness to zero on my keyboard. I proceeded to uninstall the Icue software and my keyboard now stays lit bright red. SHAME CORSAIR SHAME ON YOU.

Very Disappointing

I’ve had many Corsair keyboards. These were my first with Corsair produced switches. They are terrible. The switches would send two inputs when only pressed once. They also developed a squeak within a week. Returned both keyboards.

Keys feel nice, but too sensitive for me

I used this keyboard for 2 weeks to give it a fair trial run. Its a nice keyboard, a bit smaller than footprint than my old keyboard which is nice to fere up some desk space. The compact layout may take a bit to get used to, but I adjusted pretty quickly. The backlighting is nice, though not as customizable as I was hoping, and its not the easiest to setup either. Once set up it works well though. It is pretty quiet for a mechanical keyboard, but the keys are a little too sensitive for me, which translates into me pushing wrong keys or double-pressing keys when I only want to press once. I bet with more practice I could get it, but for now I'm going to switch back to my other keyboard. I typically use brown or blue switches, and I think I'll stick with those personally. If you do want a very precise and quiet keyboard though, this is really good.

I don't impress me much

I've really, really reserved judgement on this keyboard, but I've been using it for almost a month now and I am just not impressed. Out of the box, I experienced key jitters. I have actually never experienced this before, and did not know that this was a thing. My $10 no-name special I got on the clearance rack at the department store never had this issue. Once I figured that out and found some solutions, I went about updating it through iCue. Fun fact, while it doesn't require USB 3 to use, it does require it to update. Oh ho ho, and you can't just use a hub to a USB 3 port on your computer, you must input it directly to the computer's USB 3 port. Every time I want to update it, I will have to plug it directly into my computer. I'm...not exactly set up in a way that makes that viable all the time. Get it updated, dink around with the settings a bit, go through the tutorial, and then get into using it. I still have key jitters. Not as bad or as often as before, but I still have them. I have looked it up and yes, I am aware of software to help fix that, but when the company Dell keyboard works through the apocalypse and this has jitters because you sneezed in its general direction, I kind of have to look at it sideways a bit. Especially for what is touted as a GAMING KEYBOARD, because those jitters and lag are REALLY NOTICEABLE when I'm playing ESO and for some reason I'm just not sprinting, or I've rolled and I didn't mean to, or I just...stop. Because meh, my gaming keyboard didn't want to play right then. Is this thing susceptible to cosmic rays too? As my first actual gaming keyboard...I'm a bit disappointed. Obviously Corsair has brand recognition, I know who this company is and what they're supposed to be about. This keyboard did not live up to that. It's a lot of money for an entry level keyboard too. I'll see if I can sort out the issues with this, but I'm strongly considering going back to my $10 no-name special from a department store even though it's 15 years old.

Decent board

The corsair K70 was a fine keyboard , there have been no response issues or other issues. The price to performance is a questionable point however what this board really brings to the table are its PCB board features such as the rgb backlight mode knob. It is completely worth its purchase and should be given the technical support and software integration used to make the experience of use pleasant.
